“I think many people don’t realize what the trees are. If someone doesn’t step in and do something, they will all be gone.”

-Marcia Allegretti, Redwood Legacy Circle Member

There are many types of legacy gifts that can be used to help preserve the future of these magical trees.

IRA Charitable Rollover

Save the Redwoods League joins our philanthropic community in celebrating the passage of permanent IRA charitable rollover provisions! Congress has reinstated the IRA Charitable Rollover with the PATH Act of 2015, allowing you to make tax-free charitable gifts from your IRA without claiming any increased income. And, your gift counts towards your minimum distribution requirement.

Your donation can help support the League’s general purposes, our Redwood Land Fund, or one of our priority projects such as the Mailliard Ranch Conservation Fund.
